• TRY USING YOUR HANDS - It is possible to close these by hand by pressing them firmly from the back up against any flat surface. It is better to avoid standard pliers as these close the connectors at an angle due to the non-parallel action of the jaws
• CORRECT CONNECTION - Once the lid is closed squarely a connection is made. If you do decide to use standard pliers you will need to work your way around the connector top ensuring that it is evenly closed. An angled lid prevents even wire contact
